Biscuit is a retired riding lesson horse from a ranch in Wyoming.

Two Socks was a children's lesson horse. He is always ready to work supporting our riders' needs.

Broadway

Broadway

Broadway was a ranch horse and then became a little girl's first horse.  They enjoyed working cattle, poles and barrel racing together. Broadway's calm personality makes him a great teacher for our independent and therapeutic riders.

Blitz

Blitz

Blitz was a member of the Fort Carson Mounted Color Guard. He retired at the rank of Sergeant First Class and joined the CSTRC team. Blitz is calm and accommodates any rider....Hooah!

Twin

Twin

Twin was a ranch horse and has made several Pikes Peak Range Rides.

Chip

Chip

Chip was a ranch horse who loved roping and gathering cattle.

Claire

Claire

Claire is a Haflinger mare. She was raised in an Amish community; she is gentle and a hard-worker. Her back is strong and sturdy and she has a smooth gait which makes her an excellent horse for Hippotherapy riders. 

Dream

 Dream 

Dream is a registered Quarter Horse and is a retired cutting horse. Dream has performed in NCHA events (National Cutting Horse Association) where he was successful and loved! After his retirement, he became part of the CSTRC family. He is loving his new job and is great with the kids and volunteers.

Ed

Ed is a Welsh Cob. He was a family horse and was used for competitive trail rides and trail course.

Espuela

Espuela

Espuela is the youngest member of our team. He was born and raised at Mark Reyner Stables by his mother, Bonita. He was breed to be a cutting horse, but did not care for the competitiveness of the sport. He enjoys his new job as a therapeutic horse.

 Melvin

Melvin

Melvin is a retired family horse and came from the Penrose area. He enjoyed trail riding and local horse shows.

Pokey

Pokey

Pokey is a retired barrel horse. She now helps or riders learn basics of barrel racing and western pleasure.

Tootsie

Tootsie

Tootsie was a gentleman's horse that he outgrew. She was great at basic trail riding. Tootsie's eagerness to work makes her a great horse for our independent therapeutic riders.

Walter

Walter

Walter is a Spotted Saddle Horse; born in Tennessee. He enjoyed trail riding.

Bonita

No Picture

Bonita was raised in La Junta. CSTRC purchased her when she was 5. She has had 3 wonderful babies; all born at Mark Reyner Stables. Bonita loved gymkhana events. In her new job, she enjoys helping children learn western riding.

Ladybug

Ladybug spent the first part of her life out in pasture as a brood mare. She has adapted to her new life and enjoys helping with Hippotherapy lesson

Betty

Betty is a good all-around mule.

She was donated by Randy Gibbs.

Millie

Millie enjoyed trail rides, roping, parades and went on the Pikes Peak Range Ride.

She was donated by John and Linda Skalla.

Magoo

 

 

 

Magoo was a trail horse in Eagle and Steamboat, Colorado.

Sparks

Sparks was a trail horse in Eagle and Steamboat, Colorado.

Remi

Remi was a trail horse in Eagle and Steamboat, Colorado.

Hollywood

Hollywood was a trail horse in Eagle and Steamboat, Colorado. He also enjoyed gymkhana events.

We are located in the heart of Colorado Springs, nestled in beautiful Palmer Park at Mark Reyner Stables.

We offer a large outdoor arena, a heated indoor arena, multiple riding trails, full boarding, riding lessons, and field trips.
